Unfortunately, Ouma is one of the first people to notice Shuichi arriving on the scene -- especially since he was paying attention to whether or not anyone else would show up and make things interesting. He stops picking at whatever's in his bowl and blinks at Shuichi just standing there, wondering what's going on in his head (and guessing it's awkward), because Shuichi's presence isn't that subtle, and oh look Kaito's already gesturing for him, having noticed him, too.

Ouma stubbornly takes a bite of his food as Shuichi walks over, acting unaffected by everything ever even as Shuichi ends up seated right across from him. He looks up directly at the other just as he finishes chewing and swallowing, instantly noticing his embarrassed demeanor.
There's really only one reason for that.
