Which is to say, welcome to the morning after Ouma and Shuichi's game went a little further than it probably should have. Ouma had ended up killing even more time in the tacky love hotel by giving it another, more thorough investigative sweep -- not that he found anything particularly useful, but it's good to know the layout of the place and what exactly can all be found in there item-wise. Who knows what might end up being useful or relevant in this mutual killing game fiasco. Although he lowkey hopes some of the shit he found never ends up being relevant -- but knowing Miu, it's possible.

So Ouma's a little sleep deprived, between staying out that much later and...the general exhaustion...plus his inability to stop thinking about it. Even though he'll act like he slept like an absolute baby, 'cause he's a liar. He's even dragged himself to the cafeteria for breakfast, because that's how utterly unaffected he is. Plus, he is hungry.

Thankfully (but also annoyingly, because now he's gotta go see what they're up to right now), most of the ~*~student council~*~ of Angie's, aka the brainwashed idiots, aren't really around right now. That leaves...Korekiyo, Maki, Miu, and Kaito. What a wack group. Although one of the others might show up later...or altogether, since they're teaming up. No Shuichi either, which is interesting.

But not unsurprising, he supposes.

He doubts anything would've happened to him, but there's a paranoid part of him that kind of wonders.

He's almost considering just nabbing some snacks and taking them up to his room right now, because this is pretty uninteresting!! No fights breaking out or anything. Plus, the meal quality around here has really taken a nosedive since Kirumi's death. Oh, well...

The Monokubs will probably show up to say something inane, so he should stick around. ]

[There's a brief moment of unease -- he's never quite sure of what to expect from Ouma and even fucktired he still has the sense to be nervous about a statment that ominous -- but it passes quickly with Ouma immediately scooting up to kiss him.

Oh. Okay. That split-second of tension, barely enough time to tense of draw a breath, eases with a contented sigh. He practically melts with relief beneath Ouma. He lifts his head a little to kiss back, soft and a little lazy. It's nice. It doesn't feel like the prelude to another round or anything, just affection and intimacy, and that's...nice. He lifts a hand after a moment to cup Ouma's cheek, holding him there just a second or two longer.]

Mm...

[Yeah, he is...definitely alright with paying like that. Ouma's brand of playfulness is actually really pleasant like this, when it's all sweet and harmless beyond a moment of tenseness. When he lets Ouma go and pulls back again, he's even almost reluctantly smiling a little, just a tiny curve of the lips before he's glancing away and dipping back into uncertainty.

Well. Nice as it all is, he can't help but think beyond the current moment, at least just a little.]

Do you want to, ah...get under the blankets or clean up or something?

[He's pretty content where he is at the moment, but there's a logical part of him that recognizes that's probably only because he's still riding a sex high or whatever. Laying sprawled the wrong way across the bed on top of the sheets and half-dressed will probably get uncomfortable soon, particularly while still sticky with lube and body fluids. And Ouma getting all cozy on him is weirdly endearing, but it's probably better to not get too comfortable like this. It'd be like letting a cat fall asleep on you when you have to go to the bathroom.]

[ Just having Shuichi reciprocate like that, all full of tenderness and partiality toward him (at least, he hopes as much -- there's no way he can be misinterpreting something like that at this point, right?) shoots Ouma's pulse up alone, and he swears his face feels a little warmer. Which isn't allowed -- there isn't even anything sexual going on, so he should be even more composed at this point. At least, that's what he thinks, even though there's nothing he can do about the little shiver he gets when he feels Shuichi's hand cupping his face as he reciprocates.

...God fucking dammit. He's really into this guy.

Ouma sighs quietly through his nose, catching a glance of Shuichi's almost half-smile as he pretty much immediately takes to bringing his chin to rest it on Shuichi's shoulder -- an act that's as much making himself obnoxiously comfortable on top of Shuichi as much as it is hiding his own face for a second or two while he waits for the heat to die down in it.

At least Shuichi says something -- that's a welcome enough distraction, and Ouma can roll with anything having to do with running his own mouth in turn. Feeling more confident already since he has something else to focus on, he sits up a bit, crossing his arms over Shuichi's chest as he regards the other with an amused lilt to his expression. ]

Is Saihara-chan going to help me if I want to clean up? 'Cause it's important stuff, making sure your supreme leader is all taken care of!

[It's a little obnoxious. But it's basically just Ouma getting cuddly, which is...not terrible, not at all. Even if it's a little counterproductive to the whole "not letting Ouma get too comfortable there" thing, he can't help but welcome the affection, draping an arm over the other boy's back in a loose hug.

He sort of wishes Ouma would be like this all the time. It'd probably be horribly embarassing if he got so touchy in front of the others, but it's still such a nice change from all the incomprehensible teasing and sharp-tongued lies. Ouma seems almost soft like this, all the harsh and jagged edges smoothed down into something...not simple, never simple, but understandable, maybe. Managable. If normal Ouma is a tangle of thorns, then right now he's more a ball of yarn. Figuring him out seems doable with enough persistence.

Shuichi lets Ouma shift about as he pleases, but keeps his arms wrapped around him, not so much restrictive as just comfortable.]

If it's something I can help with...

[He could...get a wet towel? Or offer his shower or something? The possibilities seem innocent enough, but Ouma manages to make everything sound complicated.]

[ Ouma grins a little bit more prominently as he shifts one of his arms over Shuichi's chest so that he can playfully poke a finger against Shuichi's cheek. ]

Take a bath with me! You can definitely help me with that. I need someone to wash my hair while I relax after riding you so hard.

[ So yes, it's technically something Shuichi can help with?? It's not complicated, ok. Maybe.

Ouma sounds far to cheery for what just ended up coming out of his mouth, though. ]

[ jfc why must you say this so bluntly ]

Ah...

[Evidently the high is beginning to fade just enough for him to feel embarassed by the phrasing of that. He goes a little pink, and he doesn't apologise but it is only barely restrained. Should he feel bad about that? It's not like he told Ouma to ride him like that, but he did definitely...contribute.

Agh.]

Y-yeah. We can do that.

[Willing down the blush, he slides his hands from Ouma's back to his waist, squeezing a little.]

But you have to get off me for that.

[ It was totally Ouma's own fault that he ended up even riding Shuichi like that in the first place, but yeah, Shuichi didn't exactly stop anything here -- and he did come inside, which Ouma is all too happy to remind him about again if need be. But luckily, he seems to be getting what he wants yet again easily enough. He perks up a little, simultaneously ready to move like Shuichi needs him to from sheer excitement but also not really wanting to as soon as he feels Shuichi's hands on his waist like that. He kind of likes that.

But he'll nonetheless shift more of his weight to his knees as he starts lifting himself up off of Shuichi, grinning wide. ]

O-kay! And you have to let go of me already.

[ Ouma, now shifted more onto his knees than anything and sitting up well enough, moves his hands to settle them over Shuichi's own that are squeezing slightly at his waist. He doesn't try to move Shuichi's hands off of him, so it's almost like he's making a point more than anything.

A point that Shuichi is being pretty gay. Not that Ouma's complaining about that... ]

Unless you're gonna carry me or something? But I think you're waaay too wimpy for that...

[ Like you can talk about being wimpy, Ouma. ]

[Y e a h this is...pretty gay. Shuichi frowns through his blush, resisting the urge to jerk his hands away abruptly and just. Y'know, letting go like a normal person. Yes, he is embarassed, but he knows Ouma's teasing him, and feankly Shuichi doesn't want to entirely give him the reaction he wants. He can at least fall back on exasperation.]

You can manage to walk to the bathroom.

[Admittedly, yeah, Ouma is possibly right and he has no idea if he could manage carrying him at his best, let alone while as wobbly-limbed as he's sure he'll be once he tries standing. But like hell does he have to admit that.

With Ouma's weight up off him mostly, he scoots out from under the other boy awkwardly. The sudden separation feels cold, but he soothes himself with the thought of a hot bath, and the reassurance than Ouma probably isn't going anywhere.]

[ Ouma backs off of Shuichi when Shuichi starts scooting out, letting himself settle backwards to sit on the bed upright for a second or two. ]

Oh? You didn't know? My legs completely give out after sex! It's why I couldn't leave with you last night...and why I can't be going anywhere right now!

[ All this said right before he decidedly uses his hands to balance himself against the mattress before shifting his legs off the side of the bed -- which is followed up by him hopping directly off of it, making a small grunt of effort under his breath but ultimately shrugging like it was nothing. ]

... Juuust kidding! But I still won't go anywhere.

[ Even though he's...heading to the bathroom... But Shuichi knows what he means, he's sure. ]

[There's still a part of him that tenses as Ouma hops up and heads towards the door. It's a stupid part, because even Ouma surely wouldn't just stroll on out still half-dressed like that, but still. A breath eases out of him as Ouma turns into the bathroom, and he struggles for a moment over the interal debate of how much he should re-dress himself before getting up.

(Closing his shirt back up and stuff seems pointless, yeah, but he takes that moment to at least tuck himself back into his pants.)

Shuichi follows Ouma into the bathroom, shaking his head a little.]

We didn't have sex last night...

[It's a significant distinction, let him have this. He flushes a little to say it, but wisely keeps his eyes off Ouma where he'd risk losing his nerve and on his task getting the bath set up. If nothing else, at least they never seem to run out of hot water here. Thanks, Monokuma.]

[ It's probably a good thing he chooses to keep his eyes off Ouma, because Ouma's pointedly (after making himself comfortable, sitting on the edge of the bath) looking up at Shuichi with amusement over the fact that he bothered to make that distinctin. But of course -- Shuichi is super thorough, after all! ]

Oh, yeah! I totally forgot. I guess it's 'cause it's hard to imagine not having sex in a place like that, but you still managed to avoid it, Saihara-chan! You should get like, a medal or something...

[ To be fair, the "I visited a love hotel with Ouma and came out mostly a virgin" title is somewhat impressive. Maybe. ]

... Buuut given how things went tonight, I bet you wanted to have sex. Right?

[ He might be prying a little, but it feels like a fair assumption at the same time. Ouma's apparently just going to make himself comfortable and run his mouth here while he expects Shuichi to draw a bath... ]

[Of course Ouma gives him no leniency whatsoever here, going straight for the throat. Kneeling beside the tub to run the wall, Shuichi flushes bright red and ducks his head, shoulders hunching up, but even turned away he can't hide the pink spreading down his neck.

Ugh. Right. Water, hot. He keeps a hand under the running faucet to judge the temperature, trying and failing to play cool.]

I mean...none of this is really...how I expected to do things.

[He always thought he'd have a slow romance with a good number of dates before even a kiss, slowly working their way up to greater intimacy. Something traditional if not very original or exciting. He's not a very interesting person, by his own judgement, so he hardly anticipated anything beyond the standard.

But here he was, getting ready to take a bath with someone he just had sex with a day after his first kiss. Someone he doesn't even know very well, let alone someone he's dating. Is this like...a friends-with-benefits sort of thing? Is he just a slut??]

[ Ouma notices how pink Shuichi is turning, and he knows it's not from that hot water. He's kind of enjoying Shuichi's state of undress too, since as he's looking at him it's easy to spot exactly where Shuichi's going to be accumulating some colorful marks on his collar and neck, courtesy of Ouma himself.

He grins, discarding whatever clothing he still even (barely) had on by this point and turning around on the edge of the tub to go ahead and put his feet in. ]

Ehhh? How did Saihara-chan expect to do things? Did you want to hold hands and pretend like you weren't interested in fucking me for fifty dates or so?

[ Maybe it's an attempt at reassuring Shuichi, or maybe he's just still being obnoxious, but he does bother to tack on: ]

I'd get really bored with that, y'know... So I don't think your virgin tactics would work for me. Sorry!

[ Ouma leans forward on the edge of the tub, eyeing the soaps and shampoos laid out along the other edge. He knows it's here, because his own room has it, and ah--

He ends up grabbing a bottle of Monokuma Bubble Bath™ as soon as he spots it. ]

[He's pointedly not looking at Ouma, so he's not really sure what Ouma is doing moving around in his peripheral until a pair of bare legs drop over the edge of the tub beside him to dip into the water. Jesus, that's one way to ensure he keeps his head down. Sure, they just fucked, but this is a different context and they didn't really get entirely naked before anyway so. Yeah.

And then Ouma goes ahead with being a little shit and Shuichi's head droops even lower, dropping to rest his forehead against the edge of the tub. Ugh. Fuck it, Ouma can adjust the temperature if he wants, Shuichi needs to chill for a moment here. At least the porcelain is nice and cool against his heated skin.]

It's not about pretending, it's...

[Jesus. How to even explain the logic behind tradtional courtship? Hell, should he even bother? Ouma's probably just giving a hard time for the fun of it.

He's quiet for a moment, mulling that over. At least he has an excuse to hide his face and not look at Ouma in this position.]

It's just...not rushing into things. Making sure everyone involved is comfortable and ready and doesn't feel pressured into something they're not entirely sure about. I just don't want to regret anything.

[ God, Shuichi. Still fretting even after all of this... Ouma does take advantage of Shuichi neglecting the bath lever, scooting on the edge of the tub so he can easily reach it to fiddle with it himself a bit. Not that it needs much adjusting -- Shuichi almost has it to the perfect temperature. Wife material over here, apparently...

Ouma tilts his head slightly as he listens to Shuichi ramble about his hangups, vaguely wondering if Shuichi is actually concerned about any of these details. It'd be nice, to think that Shuichi cared enough about him to think of him in that sort of way... but it's difficult to gauge, since he made it pretty clear that he didn't know how he felt. Which, as potentially bothersome as that shit could be for Ouma down the line, he's satisfied for now with just having Shuichi's attention and affection all to himself. Who even knows how long either of them are going to last in this game, right?

That's what Ouma tells himself, to try and distract from the fact that he's very, very, very into Shuichi. It's kind of the worst.

Ouma scoffs. ]

I knooow you're not thinking that kind of crap about me, right? I don't regret a-ny-thing, so you shouldn't, either.

[ Although, it's fair if he does, Ouma supposes -- it's not like he exactly expects anyone to be mutually into him or to put up with his shit. It's clear that Shuichi's into him in some form, be it desperate or sexual or whatever...so there's at least that. Even if he's a little distracted by these more serious thoughts now, he's still going to try and crack a joke at the situation, not wanting to let things get too uncomfortably personal here: ]

Oh, but I definitely regret not getting to use any of those super cool toys that room had... Too bad!

[Ouma scooting over and reaching over his head to fuss with the water has the side effect of bringing his bare thigh that much closer to Shuichi's face. And Shuichi is very much not looking, but he can tell even still just from the sound of Ouma's voice a bit more above him and that tingling sense of nearness, the body heat he can feel coming off Ouma's skin. The reminder of all the novelties back in the hotel really only makes the situation worse, too immediate a reminder of everything that's been going on while Ouma's sitting naked next to him and cracking jokes.

Lord. Shuichi laces his fingers together over the back of his neck, keeping his forehead to the side of the tub and his elbows down where he can cover the sides of his slightly frustrated expression with them. He's trying to be sincere here, and Ouma's just downplaying his worries and teasing him as usual.]

Of course I am.

[He sounds almost a little sad to have to say it. What has he done to make Ouma think he's some exception to that? He'd been fretting before about taking advantage of Ouma, right? Should he have been more firm about that, did giving in make him seem less sincere? Or is Ouma just messing with him right now, knowing he'll stress like this?

It might just be a joke, but brushing it off as easily as Ouma's brushing him off here sits poorly with him. Ouma likes to joke around, but how much is believeable? At what point is it actually fair to second-guess it and wonder if Ouma's just using humor as a shield? Shuichi knows he tends to overthink things, and he can admit that some of those things are probably silly to stress over. But of all things, it can't be wrong to think carefully about other people's feelings, right?

On the surface, it sounds like Ouma doesn't give a shit. He's so beyond intense feelings about stuff like this and of course is going to give Shuichi a hard time for caring.

But Shuichi got him to admit his own lie before. He acted so flippant about everything in the hotel yesterday, but he really was serious about it and hoped Shuichi was, too. That's a lot on its own -- like, a lot, he's going to be thinking on that fact alone for a while -- and it definitely calls into question any moment of apparently carelessness on Ouma's part. And why? Is he just lying out of habit? Is it meant to hide embarrassment or is he just afraid of being open about his real feelings?

Shuichi shakes his head slightly, the movement a little hard to parse as huddled up as he is right now.]

And...you always lie, or deflect like that, so of course I'm going to worry about whether you actually mean it when you say it's fine.

[ Ouma can tell easily enough that Shuichi is having another one of his doubting moments, even if it's...out of consideration, it seems. That's kind of weird, to Ouma, having someone actually bother about his comfort when Ouma seemingly never pays the same respect toward others. But not unwelcome. ]

Pfft! Do you really think I'd let someone like you take advantage of me? That's cute.

[ Ouma brushes off Shuichi's concerns with his own arrogance, taking his hand off the bath lever (now that the temperature is adequate enough) to playfully pat Shuichi's head a few times -- especially if he's just going to keep his face against the edge of the tub like that.

In any other context, it might look like Shuichi were pouting about taking a bath or something -- a thought that only serves to amuse Ouma further right now. Cheerily, he carries on: ]

But wow! I'm totally gonna end up swooning if you keep talking all chivalrous and stuff. Then it'll really be your fault I can't stop thinking about you, so be careful with that.

[He wasn't really expecting any kind of sincerity or anytjing in return, but he still sighs at Ouma's dismissal and the patronizing little headpat. There's a moment where he entertains the thought of just pushing Ouma into the tub, but of course it's quick to pass. Last thing he needs is to accidentally murder a naked Ouma in his bathroom by making him crack his head on the edge of the tub or something.

Trying to regain some level of dignity, he drops his hands to his lap and straightens up. If he pointedly keeps his eyes on the faucet rather than the boy sitting on the other side of him, well, he's gotta make sure to keep the water from getting too high, right?]

So it's not my fault right now?

[That at least makes sense. No matter how straightforward he gets Ouma to be on the subject, it's still hard to imagine why anyone would be so interested in him. That he humors Ouma so much and makes an effort to understand him is the most believeable explanation so far, but it being about something entirely unrelated to him would be just as believeable to him. Maybe Ouma's just the type to fixate on something and it just happened to be Shuichi here. Maybe he's just lonely and latching onto whoever seems most available.

Who knows. But musing over that aspect of it all is a little easier to process than Ouma indirectly admitting to thinking about him all the time.]

Hmmm...

[ Ouma brings a finger to his lips as he hums and looks upward, like he's actually mulling this over or something. In reality, he's just stalling on the fact that Shuichi's calling him out like this. Although he almost likes that, in a sense -- having Shuichi read into him and his statements but still leaving enough curiosity for Shuichi to pry further. It's too fun.

Ouma shrugs, kicking one of his feet in the risen water level lightly. ]

... I've changed my mind! Everything is Saihara-chan's fault!

[ Said as he pops open the cap on that bubble bath he'd grabbed earlier, dumping in a gratuitous amount. Because why not. ]

[That's...goddammit Ouma, he was just barely managing with the assurance that it wasn't really about him. Flushing a little, he's distracted enough for a moment that the sudden pouring of bubble bath into the water in fron of him takes him by surprise. Probably because he'd been determinedly hiding his face when Ouma first grabbed the stuff. He startles a little, gaze torn from the faucet to watch the thick liquid dispersing into the water.

Right. He pulls himself together some small amount and shoves one sleeve up to his elbow, reaching into the tub to stir the water where Ouma dumped the bubble bath in and trying to direct it all towards the faucet where the stream of water can mix it and foam it up properly. God, you heathen, have you never used bubble bath before?]

...Really?

[It's not his normal call out. He's not accusing Ouma of lying. It's just...hard to believe. Even with what bits of explanation he's gotten, he think he's really done all that much to deserve anyone's admiration or whatever.]

[ Yeah, he's totally a heathen, and he's only about to prove this fact. Ouma doesn't think he wants to seriously engage that line of conversation (sorry, Shuichi), so instead he'll just. Divert.

With ridiculousness. He grins mischievously. ]

Yep! Here comes your punishment...!

[ Cue Ouma tipping the bubble bath again just enough to pour some right on the back of Shuichi's head. It's really hard to resist when he's just leaning over the tub like that and has been keeping his face hidden and ducked the whole time.

A great diversion, if he says so himself. ]

[He should have better reaction time to this shit by now. But Shuichi only pauses at the mention of punishment, confused, and there's only just enough time for a moment of sudden dread before he feels the cool liquid suddenly poured over his head in a thick glob. He yelps, jolting upright, but that only makes the situation worse as a trail of the bubble bath drips down the back of his neck.

Wet hand darting to wipe at it before it can get onto his clothes, he gives Ouma an affronted look.]

O-Ouma-kun!!

[...Except he forgot for a moment that Ouma is still very much naked.

There's a beat in which he freezes, processing that while the bubble bath continues trickling down the nape of his neck into his collar. Then he goes furiously red, unsubtly looking away and covering his face with his dry hand.]

[ Ouma's grin only widens between Shuichi's outburst of a reaction and his face immediately following -- Shuichi can't really be embarrassed to be looking at him right now, can he? Of course he can, because that sounds exactly like a Shuichi thing to do. Ouma brings a finger to his lips to (unsubtly) obscure his all too amused smirk. ]

Hey, hey, what's wrong? Don't tell me you're feeling embarrassed now? Just like I said...

[ Ouma moves his hands at this point, dropping the bottle of bubble bath outside the tub as he moves his other hand to grip the edge of the tub, scooting himself even closer so that his bare thigh ends up against Shuichi.

His other hand that isn't gripping the tub's edge will end up making a casual reach over so that he can gently ghost his fingers along Shuichi's abdomen, where there's surely some dried cum at this point. ]

...It's your fault I'm like this, you know.

[Looking away, Shuichi really isn't prepared for the sudden closeness, Ouma's bare thigh up against his leg, and the fact that he can't really feel the difference through the fabric of his pants doesn't change the fact that he knows. He shivers slightly under Ouma's fingers on his stomach. He really doesn't need the reminder of their situation, or the sudden hyperawareness of the slightly itchy feeling of drying cum on his skin. He'd just been getting to a point of comfortably not fixating on it.

Jesus, is this flirting? Or is Ouma just teasing him? Or is this an extension of what they were doing before? The latter would be almost comforting, in a way -- maybe he'd better know what to do if this was definitely a sex thing, since that's now (bizarrely enough) somewhat familiar territory -- but it would also mean Ouma is ready to go again for the third time already, and if that's what this means then maybe Shuichi signed himself up for something more intense than he can actually handle.

Is he overthinking this? He doesn't think so, but it's probably not a good time to delay so long in responding, not when Ouma's feeling up his stomach like that and clearly looking for some kind of reaction.

But he really doesn't have words to respond to that.

So after a few beats he draws a steadying breath and continues as he was before with trying to wipe some of the bubble bath off his neck and head, and once he's got a good handful of it, he very maturely uses the same hand to abruptly and roughly ruffle Ouma's hair.]

[ Ouma's having a really good time with this, kind of feeling Shuichi up in a sense while Shuichi mulls over his response or reaction -- one that Ouma's anticipating a little too eagerly.

...But then he gets it, and it's definitely a little more than he had bargained for. He closes his eyes all of a sudden and makes a surprised sound, letting go of Shuichi as he instinctively tries to make a little distance between them with Shuichi's hand on his head all of a sudden.

Full of viscous bubble bath.

Fantastic. ]

Ugh, seriously?!

[ Ouma groans, like he hadn't just dumped the stuff on Shuichi's own head. But that's different, clearly.

Here comes the (very feigned, very dramatic) waterworks in response, and Ouma even rubs his eyes slighty. ]

You're so meaaaan!!

[Shuichi is long past the point of falling for Ouma's crocodile tears, and definitely not about to humor them when the whining is so hypocritical. He sighs heavily through his nose, focusing instead on that tickle of air over his fingers, and turns sway from the bath before pulling his hand away from his face again.]

Just get in the bath.

[At least it's just bubble bath. It can be rinsed off in the tub without soiling the bathwater entirely.

And on that note, Shuichi should...probably do the same. He's a bit tense, but turned away for a moment as if he was double checking that there are towels first, he finally bites the bullet and shrugs his top off.

But when his hand goes to the waistband of his pants he hesitates, pink visible even in his neck and shoulders. Jesus. He probably can't ask Ouma to just not look, huh? Not only is Ouma probably unlikely to do him that favor, even he knows it's kind of a ridiculous request after Ouma was just bouncing on his dick.]
