Which is to say, welcome to the morning after Ouma and Shuichi's game went a little further than it probably should have. Ouma had ended up killing even more time in the tacky love hotel by giving it another, more thorough investigative sweep -- not that he found anything particularly useful, but it's good to know the layout of the place and what exactly can all be found in there item-wise. Who knows what might end up being useful or relevant in this mutual killing game fiasco. Although he lowkey hopes some of the shit he found never ends up being relevant -- but knowing Miu, it's possible.

So Ouma's a little sleep deprived, between staying out that much later and...the general exhaustion...plus his inability to stop thinking about it. Even though he'll act like he slept like an absolute baby, 'cause he's a liar. He's even dragged himself to the cafeteria for breakfast, because that's how utterly unaffected he is. Plus, he is hungry.

Thankfully (but also annoyingly, because now he's gotta go see what they're up to right now), most of the ~*~student council~*~ of Angie's, aka the brainwashed idiots, aren't really around right now. That leaves...Korekiyo, Maki, Miu, and Kaito. What a wack group. Although one of the others might show up later...or altogether, since they're teaming up. No Shuichi either, which is interesting.

But not unsurprising, he supposes.

He doubts anything would've happened to him, but there's a paranoid part of him that kind of wonders.

He's almost considering just nabbing some snacks and taking them up to his room right now, because this is pretty uninteresting!! No fights breaking out or anything. Plus, the meal quality around here has really taken a nosedive since Kirumi's death. Oh, well...

The Monokubs will probably show up to say something inane, so he should stick around. ]

[Shuichi thinks he maybe sees. But only maybe, because what he's picking up from that sounds too lonely, too distrusting. Not that Ouma doesn't have crazy trust issues as far as he can tell, just...

He frowns, eyebrows puling together as he looks up at Ouma with something like incredulous worry.]

What are you afraid I'd do?

[Frustrated, he gives a little tug at Ouma's pantlegs and shakes his head, dropping it back against the mattress with a hard exhale like he's trying to keep his cool here. The look he shoots the little bottle in Ouma's hand is almost resentful.]

I don't get it. Because you won't let me. I'm trying to, but you just...you're trying to distract me, right? You'll fool around with me but you won't talk to me? How am I supposed to take that?

[ As easy as it is to spin Shuichi's words around and spin his own words around and keep things vague, keep things distracted, or even lie about the situation in general, it's hard for Ouma to deal with Shuichi practically imploring him for something substantial here. It causes Ouma's heartrate to pick up slightly, just because this is something that's particularly uneasy and awkward for him -- something he tries to avoid, considering appearing uneasy or awkward isn't exactly a depiction of himself he enjoys putting out there.

Ouma exhales slowly, actually pausing in whatever he's doing at this point, slumping back slightly on his knees as he regards Shuichi with a bit of fatigue in his expression, like he's recalled something unpleasant. A few seconds that seem far longer than they actually are pass by as he considers his words, and his voice is completely even and serious when he ends up responding: ]

...Ditch me.

[ Whether he's answering the first question or the last question, it's unclear -- maybe it's purposefully like that, up to Shuichi's interpretation. ]

Ouma-kun...

[For a moment Shuichi just blinks up at him, stunned to get a real answer and unable to find any satisfaction in it. Not when Ouma looks and sounds so defeated, tired and assuming the worst to an extent usually only Shuichi himself manages.

But after that moment he sits up as best he can, using one arm to support himself. It's kind of against the rules Ouma's laid down, but he's not displacing Ouma from his spot so maybe it's only half-cheating? But he'll take that risk right now. He needs to communicate this as clearly as possible -- he owes Ouma that much in exchange for his honesty. And he can't do that laying passively on his back.

Heedless of the liquid Ouma's poured over his fingers, Shuichi catches that hand with his own free hand and leans in as much as he can, making sure to catch and hold Ouma's gaze. This isn't the time for shyness or hesitation.]

I'm not going to abandon you, no matter what I learn about you.

[That much should be believeable, shouldn't it? He's still friends with Maki. He didn't hate Kaede or Kirumi for what they'd done, no matter how much he disagreed with it. He grips Ouma's hand tight, grimacing only slightly at the slickness that had his fingers almost slipping entirely out of place.]

I don't really...know how I feel yet. [He does color a little to say it, maybe embarassment or maybe shame over his own indecisiveness when he wishes he could give Ouma an immediate comforting truth. But...] And I don't want to say anything I don't mean with absolute certainty. I don't want to risk lying to you about something like this, even by accident. But I can't figure anything out if you won't let me be your friend first.

[ Ouma might've pointed it out if he weren't so immediately stunned by what Shuichi does next. He looks surprised as Shuichi takes his hand (especially with what's on it -- really, Shuichi...), and his face feels a little warmer at the gesture coming out of left field for him. Ouma simultaneously wants to avoid Shuichi's gaze as much as he doesn't -- but a feeling like he might just miss something if he does in combination with how serious Shuichi is right now keeps him fixated.

He doesn't even know how to process Shuichi's words for a good silent few seconds -- at least, until he does, and he smiles a bit sardonically. ]

I'd totally catch it if you lied to me, anyway... 'Cause you suck at it.

[ It's only for a moment, but Ouma squeezes back at Shuichi's hand faintly before straightening himself, his smile becoming more distinct and a little more pep returning to his tone when he speaks again. ]

...But yeah! I wanna be friends with Saihara-chan.

[ Despite everything they've been doing together coupled with Shuichi's multiple attempts here to reach out to Ouma on some more genuine level, it's hard for Ouma to believe anyone would be legitimately interested in making friends with him in return. Of course Ouma's interested -- so is this Shuichi saying they can be friends?? Maybe?? Are there conditions to this?? Ouma's thinking a bit too hard about everything Shuichi's just said now. ]

[As sincere as he's being here, there's a great deal of tension and anxiety bubbling just underneath, held at bay only by how sure he is that he needs to do this. It'd be all too easy for Ouma to brush him off, laugh at how serious he's being, give him a hard time about breaking the rules...

So it's overwhelmingly relieving when Ouma smiles and squeezes his hand. He can't even begin to care about the gunk he's getting all over his hand unnecessarily, or his open shirt and the semi he'd been faintly worried about Ouma feeling despite everything. The tinge of pink in Ouma's cheek and the warmth of the hand in his (underneath, perhaps, a layer of cool slickness) feels real and tangible and solid for once. The tension just drains out of him, shoulders drooping in relaxation, and he tentatively smiles back.]

So...you'll actually let me get to know you? You can't just distract me every time I try.

[Y'know, like with pornos when he's trying to bond over movies.]

[ As ideal as that sounds, Ouma already knows their situation doesn't exactly lend well to that. Even if he was comfortable letting Shuichi get to know him better (which...he likes the idea in theory, at least), he's all too aware of the fact that he's dealing with a mastermind somewhere. While he feels like Shuichi is probably among the most trustworthy for him out of anyone else here, revealing much in this situation is an absolute no, courtesy of his paranoia.

The cameras and monitors present in every facet of their environment says more than enough.

Still, he wants to give Shuichi something -- a promise of sorts, maybe. Even if it may never get fulfilled. ]

Well, you might learn a thing or two if you keep hanging out with me. But I can't be sharing too much until after I crush this killing game... You understand, right?

[ He's still speaking in an amicable tone as he says all this. ]

So...work hard to stay alive until then, and I'll let you get to know the real me as much as you want!

[Shuichi's smile shrinks by a few centimeters, but...well, that's what he gets for being too optimistic. This is Ouma, after all. A rare moment of sincerity was hardly a guarantee that things would be so much eager moving forward.

And again, this is Ouma. That's just as likely to be fishing for answers of his own as it is deflection. Shuichi pauses for a long few moments, turning that one over in his head and picking what significance he can out of it. It sounds like Ouma's just brushing him off, avoiding any kind of actual commitment, but...]

...It doesn't have to be all at once. I can wait. [He nods slightly, like he's confirming that much to himself as well, and squeezes Ouma's slippery hand in his.] Just promise me we'll both get out here alive so that can happen, okay?

[Ideally, everyone still left can get out alive. But he knows Ouma doesn't care much for that Kaede-level optimism and trust in everyone.]

I'm gonna live anyway, so no worries there!

[ Ouma shrugs, sounding pretty carefree about the whole survival concept, even if it's his fixation on it and everything surrounding the game that's partially got him being evasive in the first place. Partially.

He is also just terrible at opening up or being fully comprehensible at the best of times.

But his affirmation toward living is more or less his roundabout way of agreeing to Shuichi's promise. ]

But it's good to know you've got patience with something... 'Cause you broke my only rule, y'know.

[ He finally points this out. ]

[Ah. Right. Shuichi shrinks in on himself slightly at the reminded, looked properly abashed. He doesn't regret it, but. Well. Ouma is right.]

Uh...sorry. I just--

[Wanted to be as sincere and straightforward as possible, with eye contact and everything? It sounds dumb even in his head. He cuts himself off before he can stammer his way through any awkward excuses, and just...starts to lay himself back down.

Except he pauses halfway down, still propped up on his elbows, as something occurs to him.]

But...I mean, I said I wasn't sure yet, so...you don't have to...

[He trails of, coloring and he glances away. It was kind of Ouma's own request, but...he'd said himself that he hoped Shuichi was serious too, right? Not to say that Shuichi's just fooling around, of course, but it strikes him as kind of disingenuous to just ignore that imbalance while Ouma does...whatever he's planning. Shuichi isn't really sure, but the lube implies certain possibilities.]

[ Ouma kind of rubs his fingers together after Shuichi lets go of his hand, thinking that Shuichi really didn't have to grab that hand, but it's too late to really complain about that. His fingers (or entire hand now, thanks to Shuichi) still maintain enough slickness, so he's just going to leave the bottle tossed to the side and-- watch Shuichi not fully return to his position yet.

Ouma's pretty quick to scoff at Shuichi's words, answering almost a little arrogantly: ]

I know that.

[ He doesn't have to do anything because he's in control of everything, okay. Or, that's how he prefers it, anyway.

After saying that much, Ouma uses the hand that isn't slick to abruptly grab at Shuichi's crotch with a fair amount of pressure. ]

But you want it, right? [ A beat, and then to ensure Shuichi fully understands-- ] ...I want it.

[The yelp that escapes him at the sudden crotchgrabbing is probably not sexy in the least. It's hard to say whether his sudden furious blushing is from embarrassment or the action itself. He sinks down a little further, more limp weakness in response to the abrupt groping than obedience this time. Ouma's reassurance, too, is...well, reassuring, but he still struggles to get his reasoning out. Just to be sure.]

Although Ouma's clearly not bothered, and he's not going to repeat himself. He does let go of Shuichi's dick a few seconds after saying that, though. ]

Shuichi looks properly ashamed now, and the only thing keeping him from outright apologizing his the vague recognition that Ouma's being facetious. He's not serious, it's just an excuse to tease him, Ouma is very openly into this and just getting a bit of revenge, but...fuck. Goddamn. The heavy petting really doesn't make it easier to reason his way through that mess, and ironically nor does the sudden removal of the hand on his dick right as he's really starting to come to attention.

Lips pressed together tight to clamp down on any other unintentional noises, Shuichi directs his gaze to the side towards the blank blue TV screen, unable to even look at Ouma like this. He really can't even think of protesting that horribly embarrassing request without feeling like a scumbag. And here he thought last nights encounter could kill him through sheer humiliation. Think again, motherfucker.

It's too long an uneasy, hesitant pause before he lifts his lube-slick hand, clenching his eyes shut like he could shut out his audience and all everything else here making this so much harder. He can just...try to pretend he's alone, like Ouma isn't a noticable and distracting weight on top of him. He works at the closures on his pants with a delicate touch, unwilling even like this to dirty them too much with the mess on his hand, and then slides his fingers below his waistband.

This would be easier if Ouma didn't have such an unignorable presence.]

[ Ouma had something else he wanted to occupy himself with, but Shuichi being this flustered is just really good and stirring up his own interest again, so he's going to savor this a little first. He can't help that it's kind of fun to embarrass Shuichi, okay.

While Shuichi is taking his sweet time in starting what Ouma asked him, Ouma's going to duck in a little closer, tentatively placing his clean hand on Shuichi's waist. He's going to go ahead and finally taking advantage of having Shuichi's shirt open at this point, pressing his lips in an open-mouthed kiss against the center of Shuichi's bare chest.

His presence...probably isn't going to get any easier to ignore here, unfortunately. ]

[Yeah, Ouma is definitely not someone who can be easily ignored in the best of situations. Not that this is necessarily the worst, despite how much Shuichi thinks dying right now might be easier on him.

But any progress he has made in the way of zoning out is immediately lost as he feels Ouma's waist at his waist and soft lips and hot breath on his chest. Shuichi's breath hitches, his jaw tensing with the effort to keep his mouth closed and all noise muffled. He clean hand grips the bedspread beside him, pretty sure that touching Ouma back here would only make the company that much more noticeable.

It would be easier to pull himself out of his pants and boxers entirely. It's not like Ouma hasn't seen it already, after last night. But this feels like so much more a display, even with Ouma taking the initiative to involve himself more directly, and thinking of it leaves him feeling a little dizzy. Or maybe that's the arousal. Either way, he takes what tiny bit of modesty he can, working his hand around his shaft beneath the fabric of his underwear and slowly stroking himself. It's a very different touch from the one he used on Ouma -- firm enough, sure, but nothing he'd call rough, moving in even (if slightly shaky) strokes and at a somewhat more sedate pace.

[ Ouma doesn't seem to be paying too much attention to what Shuichi is doing -- or he isn't bothering to directly observe him anyway, since he's definitely paying attention to what few sounds Shuichi's making right now and the way his body is tensing and responding. Ouma's seemingly satisfied with just the reactions and the fact that Shuichi's doing it more than anything, and also very much distracted himself with kissing against Shuichi's body a few more times.

He self-indulgently keeps up with this a while longer, placing each new kiss marginally higher than the last as he moves from Shuichi's chest to his collar. It's at Shuichi's collar that Ouma decides to graze his teeth a little, settling on a spot of Shuichi's skin with his mouth before experimentally beginning to suck on Shuichi there. ]

[It does slowly dawn on him that Ouma's current position means he can't possibly be actually watching him, which is...kind of comforting. Just fractionally less embarrassing, at least. Distantly, it does occur to him to wonder if that was purposeful or just a convenient side-effect of Ouma wanting to be more involved, but the thought doesn't linger for long. Jacking off really isn't conducive good reasoning skills.

Neither is Ouma's mouth on him, slowly inching upward. Shuichi's too warm, yet he's left faintly shivering and with goosebumps, every inch of skin paradoxically feeling chilled in comparison to the spot of warmth under Ouma's lips. The slight scrape of teeth gives him shivers for entirely different reasons, anticipating a bit that doesn't come and tension easing again with Ouma's attempt at what will probably be a mark he'll have to cover up later.

It's nice, though. Pleasant in an entirely physical way that clashes up against his anxiousness. A low whine rises in his throat at the sucking only to be cut off quick as he notices it. His hips jerk up a little, trying to grind into his own strokes better, but they can only move so much with Ouma's weight on top of him.

Jaw tight, his unoccupied hand comes up to grip tight at the fabric of Ouma's sleeve. he's impossible to tune out, so...all Shuichi can really do is stop trying, instead letting himself focus on that spot of heat at his neck and Ouma's weight on him and shoving down the instinctual shame.]

[ Ouma definitely notices the whine, even though Shuichi's quick to stifle it. That, in combination with the feeling of Shuichi's hips moving, makes Ouma wonder if Shuichi likes this in particular. Is it a good sign that Shuichi's grabbing his sleeve? Ouma's not sure yet. After a few seconds, Ouma will slide his hand further up from Shuichi's waist as he temporarily takes his mouth off Shuichi's skin to shifts himself more over Shuichi.

All this is so he can move his lips further up Shuichi's neck, finding a fresh spot beneath Shuichi's ear to start sucking on, a little harder than before as his fingernails simultaneously dig into Shuichi's side slightly from where he's got his hand on him. He may or may not be trying to leave a few marks on Shuichi, but he also wants to hear him whine and react like that again -- his own heart rate faintly picks up again just thinking about it. ]

[The sting of nails digging into his side gets more of a hissing intake of breath through his teeth than a whine, but...he doesn't dislike it, if his full-body twitch and subsequent squirming are any indication.

Though, the squirming could also be because Ouma's shifting up a little is making his task even more difficult. The weight over his hips makes it hard to move his hips much, and restrains the hand in his pants just as much. Speeding his strokes just a little to counter that spark of pain, a masochistic part of his brain points out that Ouma can probably feel every movement of his hand like this. The thought is as horrifying as it is oddly heartpounding -- exhilarating -- and a soft whine finally escapes him as he has to open his mouth to gasp for breath.

If he turns his head to the side in a way that gives Ouma much easier access to his neck, well...he just can't breathe with all that body heat between them. Clearly.]

[ Well, Ouma's enjoying the squirming, and the ability to feel all of Shuichi's movements even though he's not watching him is decidedly a perk -- so he's not about to move to make things easier for Shuichi. Of course, he's just trying to make things harder in general, though.

So there's no way he misses the slightly more enthusiastic activity going on with Shuichi down below. If he wasn't sure before about whether or not Shuichi was liking this, he certainly is now. Between that and the small whine and gasp he drags out of Shuichi, Ouma's feeling both pleased and incited to do more -- he can easily see why Shuichi was content without any attention himself earlier, since the payoff is pretty exciting in itself.

Especially when Shuichi turns his head and exposes more of his neck. Ouma scoffs in a quiet, amused way against Shuichi's skin as he begins taking his mouth off of him. Although he doesn't go far, his lips still near enough for Shuichi to feel his breath all too close. He'll take the invitation, decidedly running his tongue across the side of Shuichi's throat before pressing his lips near where he'd just been sucking last to nip with his teeth a little. Because he wants to. ]

The tongue is a weird sensation, soft and wet and warm against the skin of his throat. He shudders slightly under Ouma at the feeling of it -- it's all too easy to imagine for convential uses of that tongue, and that gets a frustrated restrained little thrust out of his against his palm.

The nip comes as a surprise, though. Even despite the bite of fingernails, he's been llulled into a false sense of security by all the relatively normal kissing and shit. Shuichi straight up squeaks, a brief, high noise that slips out of him against his will as he jolts slightly. Automatically, his free hand flies to cover his mouth as as much of his very red face as he can with it, arm at an awkward angle to manage it over Ouma's head. His legs curl a little, only able to pull up so far before his thighs run up into Ouma, but the other boy is small enough that the initial lift is probably enough to shift him a little.]

Ouma does end up getting pushed somewhat by Shuichi's legs, and the hand that was at Shuichi's side moves to press against the mattress as he steadies himself. It's enough to distract him from what he was doing, even though the noise Shuichi just made was fairly distracting in itself. Ouma laughs softly as he ducks his head around Shuichi's arm and away from Shuichi's neck, noticing how red Shuichi's face is in spite of his hand being there now. Maybe he should stop. He's sure Shuichi's more than hard by now, anyway -- and if he keeps going, he's probably going to get aroused himself, considering he's already feeling interest in his own groin again.

Still straddling Shuichi, he shifts his weight moreso to his knees again so he can put some space between his and Shuichi's hips -- and this is all so he can move his lube-covered hand to hook his thumb at the back of his pants (that have already been long undone, at least) to ensure that they're fully pulled off his hips to pool around his knees. ]

[ He says idly, like he's just remembered this fact or something.

But this could also be because he's focused on reaching behind himself still with that same lube-covered hand, and it may or may not become obvious what he's doing when he abruptly sucks in a sharper breath before speaking again, the slightest bit of strain evident in his voice now. ]

[Ouma's soft laughter alone has him shivering again, gentle by Ouma's normal standards but hitting hard all the same given his currently ridiculous levels of embarassment. It's simultaneously a relief and entirely terrifying that Ouma pulls back immediately afterwards and suggests he stop -- giving him a break for a moment? Changing his mind entirely about the whole thing because Shuichi is an awkward and extremely unsexy virgin loser? Who knows?

Actually, Shuichi knows just a moment belatedly, after he finally lifts his head a little to peek up at Ouma and--

Yeah, those crazy deductive skills work out the plan there real quick. It's a good thing his head is already in place over his face, because a choked off little noise escape him and he somehow goes redder. Is it possible to get lightheaded purely from blushing? That sounds stupid, the blood's still in his head, but it sure as hell feels possible right now.

Not that that's the only drain on his circulation at the moment. Still dumb, but he'd definitely believe some dumb shit right now if it'd explain away his faint dizziness and the pounding of his own pulse in his ears.

But that doesn't stop him from abruptly leaning up a little, hand abandoning his mouth to reach out in a moment that seems aborted halfway though, like he's not sure if it'd be kosher to grab Ouma suddenly when he's busy with what he imagines is fairly delicate work.]

Y-you don't have to--!

[Not that he doesn't want to, he kind of very much does want to on that purely physical level that's getting very hard to ignore, but. God. Shit. That's...significant, to him if not Ouma, and the earlier guilt comes rushing back in hard and fast. It's clear on his face even under the heavy flush, eyes wide and conflicted.]

[ Ouma's face is starting to get red again too, albeit not because he's flustered about anything -- his arm keeps shifting with his movements, and his hips rock every so slightly as he keeps up with what is clearly fingering himself over Shuichi. He bites down on his own lip and sighs through his nose, but it probably doesn't come across like this is the first time he's done something like this with the little amount of hesitation going on in his movements -- don't judge his tastes, okay, he's a normal teenage boy, too. Sort of.

...Okay, Ouma's far from normal.

He looks at Shuichi when the hand is halfway reached and he rushes to make that statement, but he doesn't stop -- giving a short, breathy laugh at his reaction. ]

What, you wanna do it for me? ...I don't think that's such a good idea.

[ Ouma knows that's not what Shuichi meant at all, but he can't resist. His followup statement more or less makes it clear he knew what Shuichi meant, too. ]

Relax... Unless you want to die a virgin, or something.

[He's being serious here, but of course Ouma plays it like that. He can't even protest and push the issue, because the teasing suggestion of fingering Ouma himself successfully short-circuits him for a few moments, leaving him flustered and mouth agape as he frantically tries to put a stop to those mental images -- a task made much harder when he has nothing to look at but Ouma, hovering over him and working himself open like a champ where Shuichi can't quite see, where it's all too easy to picture this setup working a little differently--

Maybe it's ridiculous to be so worried when Ouma clearly isn't. But one of his most constant lowkey concerns simmering under the surface since the beginning, since yesterday, is that Ouma might be lying about his own level of experience. It's not that it seems that way -- it definitely doesn't seem like it at the moment, not at all -- but Ouma swaps between masks like normal people do articles of clothing. Acting a part like that and fully committing to the role hardly seems beyond him.

Shuichi frowns, clearly uneasy and not terribly convinced by that line of reasoning, but he eventually drops back a little, back onto his elbows, and takes a breath to steady himself.]

Just...go slow, okay?
