Which is to say, welcome to the morning after Ouma and Shuichi's game went a little further than it probably should have. Ouma had ended up killing even more time in the tacky love hotel by giving it another, more thorough investigative sweep -- not that he found anything particularly useful, but it's good to know the layout of the place and what exactly can all be found in there item-wise. Who knows what might end up being useful or relevant in this mutual killing game fiasco. Although he lowkey hopes some of the shit he found never ends up being relevant -- but knowing Miu, it's possible.

So Ouma's a little sleep deprived, between staying out that much later and...the general exhaustion...plus his inability to stop thinking about it. Even though he'll act like he slept like an absolute baby, 'cause he's a liar. He's even dragged himself to the cafeteria for breakfast, because that's how utterly unaffected he is. Plus, he is hungry.

Thankfully (but also annoyingly, because now he's gotta go see what they're up to right now), most of the ~*~student council~*~ of Angie's, aka the brainwashed idiots, aren't really around right now. That leaves...Korekiyo, Maki, Miu, and Kaito. What a wack group. Although one of the others might show up later...or altogether, since they're teaming up. No Shuichi either, which is interesting.

But not unsurprising, he supposes.

He doubts anything would've happened to him, but there's a paranoid part of him that kind of wonders.

He's almost considering just nabbing some snacks and taking them up to his room right now, because this is pretty uninteresting!! No fights breaking out or anything. Plus, the meal quality around here has really taken a nosedive since Kirumi's death. Oh, well...

The Monokubs will probably show up to say something inane, so he should stick around. ]

[GOSH WHAT COULD THAT BE...

Selecting one more movie he'd been peering at on the shelf, he raises both cases for Ouma to see. One is more a thriller than a crime movie, but it had seemed close enough the the genre they'd been talking about to be worth a shot.]

I only looked a little, but...I mean, we can always do this again sometime and look through the rest.

[Wow, what optimism for the future of both their friendship and their continued lives in the middle of a killing game. He's thinking positive.]

[ Shuichi is so pure...

Ouma's doing his best to corrupt him though, so there's that.

Although not optimistic at all, Ouma feels genuinely happy to hear that sort of sentiment from Shuichi -- mostly because it insinuates investment from Shuichi's side in maintaining their friendship. Not exactly a keeper of friends, this strange territory for Ouma. But the unexplored stirs up as much (if not more) curiosity as it does hesitation for him.

The bright smile he flashes in response to Shuichi's words isn't fake. ]

Yeah! We gotta... So Saihara-chan better stay alive. I'll say bad things about you if you die without at least taking me on a few proper dates.

[ Zero mood sensitivity, as per usual... It's probably hard to even tell how serious he is with any of the latter statement because of it, but. He's kinda serious.

You'll never catch him alive admitting that, though. ]

[Y'know what's pure? The slight flush that comes to his face in response to that...joke? Was it a joke? Knowing Ouma, it could be. But it could also not be. And that smile didn't feel like the insincere grins he got so often, but that could just be Shuichi wanting to believe the best...

Fuck, is this a date? It's not exactly what he'd had in mind when asking, but...he can't say he hadn't had the thought in those spare moments before going to sleep or getting ready to pick Ouma up afterwards. It's...kind of a date-ish activity, perhaps as close as they can get while trapped in a place like this. He hadn't really thought of Ouma in a romantic light before, but then...y'know. The hotel happened. It's not not to consider the option after something like that, or at least he thinks so. And for all that Ouma is strange and exasperating and frustrating and often kinda mean, he can objectively also say that the Ultimte Supreme Leader is oddly fascinating, stimulating, smarter than he lets on, fun and even surprisingly thoughtful on occasion.

It...wouldn't be terrible, maybe. He thinks.

Of course, maybe he's just trying too hard to justify the hookup to himself, belatedly grasping for some romantic element to normalize it all in a backwards sorta way. Maybe it's kinda pathetic to be having such thoughts after what had been treated like a spontaneous one night stand, though one that hadn't even gone all the way. Maybe he's just clinging to anything vaguely resembling affection he can find in this hellhole. Maybe he should be worrying about whether they're even friends before considering shit like this.

Maybe he needs to actually say something already.]

[Ugh, he can feel his face burning just to get the two words out. He drops his gaze to the movie cases in his hands, idly shuffling between them to examine the summaries and try to look more nonchalant than he feels. It's not very effective.]

[ He's definitely taking note of how affected Shuichi seems by his "joke", wondering how much he's reading into it. Shuichi's face is coloring, and oh, that's cute, Ouma thinks.

Satisfied with his selections here, Ouma is already moving for the door, stacking everything precariously under a single arm-grab. ]

Hmm...? Are you trying to stay alive or trying to give me a proper date?

[ Ouma already knows what he meant by that, but since he left it ambiguous...of course he's going to take advantage of that. His grin is slightly more mischievous now as he looks over at Shuichi while reopening the door dividing the A/V room and the game room.

It's ridiculous to expect Shuichi to entertain the idea of dates or whatever in this situation, anyway. He's totally just joking.....sure. ]

[Ouma takes far too much pleasure in teasing him like this, trying to make him say awkward, embarrassing things. He takes an extra second to gather himself, keeping his face to the shelf while he takes a breath and tries to will down his blush, before turning to follow Ouma with his own selections.]

There's only so much we can do in here, so...

[You can't expect him to be more direct than that when he can't even tell if Ouma's joking or not. He'd surely never live it down if he just said it and Ouma really wasn't serious at all.]

[ Shuichi's reaction is more or less exactly what he was looking for, and Shuichi not denying his dumb, gay statement just makes it all the better. He's not sure how he should interpret that, exactly -- does Shuichi actually like him? Is he just being his shy self while trying to maintain politeness?

There's gotta be something there, or else Ouma doubts Shuichi would have even bothered putting up with him this long. Ouma's not sure if it's a logical or emotional thing, though.

Hell, he's not even sure himself if he's been staying logical when it comes to Shuichi. It's kind of the worst, but he also isn't regretting anything. ]

Nee-heehee... That's true. Well, good thing I'm fine with this.

[ Ouma mentions, shrugging his armful of movies up.

The walk back to the dorms proves to be just as quiet as the leave was -- it's gotten darker, and nobody really is daring to be out at night, it seems. Or they're busy with other things. The thought bothers Ouma, but he's with Shuichi right now, so he's going to try and ignore that on the surface. ]

[Fine with a date? Fine with just hanging out watching movies? What does that mean, Ouma?

It's a quiet walk, but Shuichi's brain certainly won't shut up the whole trip back. There's probably something vaguely masochistic about the fact that he willingly spends time with Ouma knowing his own tendency to overthink things, particularly now when everything is so up in the air after last night. Anything could mean anything, and his mind sure as fuck will consider every possibility and stress over the worst ones.

Frankly, he's relieved when he's finally opening his dorm door and he has the excuse of being a decent host to distract him from his own thoughts.]

You can just make yourself at home.

[Probably a dangerous thing to say to Ouma, but it's not like he really has anything in here to worry about. Nothing to hide or get messed up, aside from maybe those weird Monokuma figures he's been mindlessly collecting for some reason.]

[ Ouma waltzes into Shuichi's room, setting down his stack of movies by Shuichi's TV before doing just that, sitting (or more like hopping) on Shuichi's bed with enthusiasm. ]

...It's so plain in here!

[ Y'know, disregarding the weirdass Monokuma collection.

He's noted that, but he's ignoring it. Why, Shuichi...are you a secret Monokuma fanboy. Ouma glances around some more, noting the overall generic appearance. It's not surprising that Shuichi's not the type to really do much with his room aside from use it for the necessities. ]

But I don't dislike that, because it's all nice and neat.

[ In stark contrast to his own room, of course. ]

[Yup, somehow he figured Ouma would go straight for the bed given permission. Well, he guesses it's harmless so he might as well...]

It's not like we have much to decorate with here...

[Not that he'd really be jazzing the place up much even if there was easy access to an interior decorating store or whatever. He's a simple dude, okay? He leaves Ouma to fuck around as he pleases and heads over to the TV station with his own selections, setting them aside to pick up the movies Ouma had brought.]

Do you have a preference for which we try first...?

[ Ouma hums in thought, kicking his feet off the edge of Shuichi's bed as he makes a grab for one of Shuichi's pillows to clutch in his arms. He's definitely making himself comfortable. ]

Mmm... What about the one I showed you?

[ He makes his suggestion as he rests his chin against Shuichi's pillow, waving with one of his hands in Shuichi's direction. ]

Toss me the remote, by the way!

[ Look, he's being helpful!! ]

Sure.

[Hey, he's not fussy. If Ouma shows some preference then he's probably less likely to complain about it being boring, right? He pops that case open and puts the disc in the player without thinking about it much before grabbing the remote.

There's an armchair and a chair they could pull over from the desk that would be closer to the TV -- the bed really isn't situated the best for movie watching, honestly -- but Ouma looks like he's settling himself over there. So Shuichi just frowns thoughtfully and turns the TV a little to face the bed better before heading over to sit on the edge of the bed, offering Ouma the remote.]

[ Fantastic. Not that he expected Shuichi to refute his choice or anything, since Shuichi's proven himself to be the type to generally go along with things as long as they're not obviously insane.

Ouma only situates himself more, crossing his legs onto the bed and taking the remote from Shuichi so he can flick the television on with a grin.

A perfectly pleasant, normal movie night.

Even as the movie starts up, seeming to be of lesser film quality than its cover suggests. The acting is really bad too, and things seem to be moving at an extremely fast pace. There's a professor, and an exceptionally good-looking student with bad grades, and it doesn't seem to be much of a mystery or thriller at all.

At least, until not even a minute into the movie, it abruptly turns into explicit pornography with the student being fucked over the desk. They're pretty vocal about it, too.

It's amidst the sudden moaning and lewd sounds pouring from the television that Ouma finally says something, clear amusement in his tone. ]

Huuuh...? What kind of movie did you put in, Saihara-chan?

[It does strike him as the movie begins that it's got the quality of a shitty porno. But somehow, even despite Ouma's involvement, he isn't expecting an actual porn.

He is clearly way too trusting.]

Wha--?!

[He practically squeaks, face going red so fast and hard it's frankly amazing he didn't pop a blood vessel in the process. Ouma immediately laying the blame on him definitely doesn't help matters.]

Y-you picked this one!

[Of course he highly suspects that was on purpose. But he isn't really in a position to make accusations at the moment, because he's busy burying his bright red face in his hands, shoulders hunched up to his ears.]

[ In contrast to Shuichi over here, Ouma looks pretty unaffected by the fact that they're watching someone get nailed on Shuichi's TV right now. If anything, he looks like he's having fun with it. ]

Did not! I picked a film with a waaay lower rating than this...

[ Ouma is grinning so mischievously at Shuichi's reaction, and he inches closer to Shuichi in this moment so he can grab one of Shuichi's shoulders and shake it a little. ]

What's with that reaction, anyway? Don't you watch this kind of stuff, Saihara-chan?

[ Cue Ouma, using his remote control powers to turn the volume up a few notches to enhance the loud moaning and (now) wet slapping sounds resounding in Shuichi's room. ]

Of course not!

[What kind of teenager watches physical pornos rather than just shit on the internet? Not that he'd admit that part either, of course. There's probably something ironic and stupid about being sex-shy with the dude who was touching his dick last night, but. Yeah.

He's making sure not to watch, but Ouma's making damn sure he can hear it. He peeks between his fingers at Ouma, pointedly looking away from the screen.]

D-don't make it louder! Someone might hear!

[He'd love to cover his ears too, but he tragically only has two hands. He'll settle for pulling his legs up to insistently nudge at Ouma with his foot, because he is tragically also too nice to just kick him.]

[ Ouma laughs a bit when Shuichi nudges at him, although he doesn't stop just yet because Shuichi is too nice to just knock him over... ]

Pfft, who's gonna hear?! Besides, it's getting pretty good now, look--

[ Ouma leans over to slide his hand down from Shuichi's shoulder so he can tug on Shuichi's arm now. Since Shuichi's trying so hard not to look at all, of course it just makes him wanna get Shuichi to look. He's not earnestly trying that hard though, since he's only got one hand here with the remote in the other.

There is a lot of really bad dirty-talk dialogue that's starting to crop up at this point like "oh yes" and "give it to me, baby" that strongly implies it is, contrary to Ouma's assertion, not getting good. ]

[Shuichi clenches his eyes shut, groaning, embarrassment quickly becoming matched by exasperation. Yeah, any doubt that Ouma pulled this shit on purpose is long gone.]

Th-this doesn't sound good at all. It's just...awkward. And bad.

[Would it be better or worse if it were just the sex sounds? Hard to say. At least the shitty porn dialogue is so lame he can kinda focus on the shittiness and not on the sex. He can manage like this to pull his hands away from his face so he can try reaching around Ouma for the remote. He'd love to keep his face covered when he can feel how furiously his face is burning, but he'd prefer to shut this off before anyone hears. How thick are the walls between the dorms? Please be thick.]

[ There's another short, very amused laugh from Ouma when Shuichi says that. ]

Well, yeah. I'm lying, of course! But woooow--

[ In the middle of whatever he's saying is when he notices Shuichi making a grab for the remote, and he'll use his grip on Shuichi's arm to try and push against him to keep him at bay while he raises his other arm to attempt keeping the remote right out of Shuichi's immediate reach. Because it's the most mature move, obviously.

He doesn't seem to lose stride with what he was saying as he does this. ]

--I didn't realize you could even recognize a bad porno, Saihara-chan! Would you like it more if the lines were better? ...Or maybe if you could only hear the sound effects?

I don't live under a rock...

[It's a pretty weak protest, especially when he's distracted shaking his head and trying to fight Ouma's grip for the remote.]

And I wouldn't like it either way. Come on...

[But he is taller and has longer limbs, and he will absolutely take advantage of that to try reaching the remote over Ouma's head despite how he's being pushed away. The effort gets him up on his knees, unsteady as he tries leaning for it, but dammit he doesn't wanna listen to this chick call her teacher "daddy" anymore ok??]

What? I just wanna know your tastes a little...

[ Even though this is very clearly not even close to something anyone would pick with Shuichi in mind.

And it has absolutely nothing to do with why Ouma's still trying to keep Shuichi from getting the remote, scrambling around to try and push his own foot against one of Shuichi's knees in an attempt to block the other more effectively.

All this while the woman's moaning only gets louder and more dramatic as the fucking sounds turn more desperate and uneven.

He scoffs a laugh again, although this time it isn't because of anything from Shuichi. ]

Oh yeah, she's totally faking it!

[ He needed to whip out his PhD in lies knowledge for that one, tbh. ]

This definitely isn't my taste!

[Surely Ouma would have figured that much out just from last night? This has got to be just teasing him. Which...he did just kinda tell Oma to lay off teasing in this vein this morning, but this isn't public, so his embarrassment at least stops short of actual irritation. It's hard to be irritated when he's distracted by wanting to die a little bit anyway.

Especially with Ouma pointing out the worst of it. Shuichi makes a face at the loud and clearly fake moaning, awkwardness mixed with exasperation, and he doesn't even know how to respond to that. But fortunately Ouma saves him from having to by pushing his knee out from under him. He drops with a yelp, half crashing on top of Ouma where he'd been reaching across for the remote and grabbing at the other boy's shoulder's for support.]

[ Ouma half saw this coming, especially with how wobbly Shuichi seemed already (and distracted, since Ouma hasn't shut up the whole time during their tug-of-war with the remote). He let it happen anyway, even though it means Shuichi ungracefully knocking him over in the process.

Ouma grunts quietly between Shuichi grabbing his shoulder and the impact of his own back hitting the bed -- but at least that's soft.

The remote goes flying in the process, unceremoniously hitting the floor hard somewhere and apparently on its button-side, because the sound of the collision is immediately followed by the porno just...shutting off. The room is all of a sudden met with silence, and there's a blue screen on the TV.

Not that Ouma's even bothered looking at the TV, and he blinks in surprise for a second at the abrupt interruption of awkward sex sounds.

...Only to break into a wide grin a second later at the current predicament.

He snickers, sounding too amused when he cuts the silence: ]

...Again? Really?

[Ah. There's that brief expression of confusion, Ouma blinking up at him as if he's been thrown off his game, if only for a second. It's distracting enough that Shuichi doesn't immediately notice the video shutting off, nor does he get off Ouma right away.

Of course, the spell is broken quick enough by Ouma's snickering, and he doesn't need to expand for Shuichi to know what he means by "again". His brain probably would have gone there in a second on its own anything, but he still flushes to be reminded of it, hurriedly rolling off Ouma onto his back, hiding his face in his hands.]

Th-that was your fault...

[It's one hell of a pattern, two nights in a row. Shuichi groans, trying not to let his brain wander down that that again. The porno itself definitely wasn't arousing in the least, but it certainly put one subject at the forefront of his mind, and it's not a far leap from there to thoughts of things that definitely were exciting.

He was just trying to bond with a simple movie night, dammit.]

[ To be perfectly fair, it's been Ouma's fault...both times... but he doesn't seem to be ashamed by that at all. Ouma sits up on his elbow to regard Shuichi, clearly entertained by all of this. He brings his spare arm over so he can lightly poke an index finger at the back of Shuichi's hands that are covering his face. ]

Well, I know I'm pretty irresistible and all...

[ More like absolutely abrasive and often annoying to those in his vicinity, but sure.

And he's just casually going to keep acting like it wasn't actually his fault. ]

But geez, did that terrible porno get you in the mood or something? Should I call you "daddy" a few times for good measure? ...I'm really not into that kind of stuff, though.

[ Can he shut up.

It's already been established that Shuichi isn't either, so while he's clearly playing dumb right now, he's also being pretty damn blatant about theoretically throwing himself into a sexual situation with Shuichi. Maybe he just wants to keep those kinds of thoughts on Shuichi's mind right now. ]

[Well, that one at least overpowers the embarrassment with sheer distaste. He lowers his hands at Ouma's prodding just enough to give him an extremely flat look.]

Nothing would turn me off more.

[He sighs into his palms and his eyes cut sideways away from Ouma, staring off towards the blank blue TV screen. He's not entirely stupid. Maybe if last night hadn't happened he'd be less inclined to think along these lines, but it did. And as much as his shitty self-esteem wants to insist Ouma must surely have lost interest after whatever fit of boredom or curiosity prompted that encounter -- he had been quick to kick Shuichi out afterwards -- the more logical part of him can't help but recognize a pattern of behavior here.

He bites at his lip under his hands, eyebrows knitting together as he takes a long few moments to run through those thoughts a few times.]
